Job Description:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Computational Scientist/High-Performance Computing (HPC) Engineer to join their team. As a Computational Scientist/HPC Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing high-performance computing solutions for their cutting-edge projects.

 

Responsibilities:

- Develop and optimize high-performance computing solutions.

- Program in Python and compiled languages such as C/C++, Fortran, or Rust.

- Utilize GPU programming techniques, including experience with CUDA.

- Benchmark code and conduct performance analysis and profiling using tools like perf, VTune, etc.

- Collaborate effectively in a Unix environment, utilizing git in a team setting.

 

Requirements:

- 3+ years of programming experience in Python.

- 3+ years of programming experience in a compiled language such as C/C++, Fortran, or Rust.

- Background in GPU programming, including experience with CUDA.

- Experience benchmarking code with performance analysis and profiling using tools like perf, VTune, etc.

- 3+ years of development experience in a Unix environment, working with git in a team environment.

Nice to have:

- 3+ years of research experience or experience working in a research environment.

- Experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch, JAX, etc.

- Strong fundamental understanding of linear algebra and numerical implementation of linear algebra algorithms.
