We’re a small, dedicated team (7 in tech) providing a rare opportunity to influence the growth of an early-stage start-up.

Requirements

• 5+ years Software Development experience
• 2+ years Golang experience (+ exposure to Python /or React very helpful but not essential)
• Agile
• Interested in contributing to the business and commercial strategy
• Willingness to operate across Backend, DevOps and Data
• Continually looking to reduce the complexity of the systems
• Desire to work as part of a team:  collaborating with product, design and business functions
• Motivated by getting a product into customers hands

The role

• Develop an event-driven data pipeline to process the IoT data
• Design and build a suite of web services to support web and mobile apps
• Design a system that can accommodate a high volume of IoT sensor data
• DevOps- IaC (Terraform), develop CI/CD pipelines, server management
• Working on Google Cloud
• Develop automated tests for everything that goes into production
