Role Overview

• Strategic Leadership: You will be responsible for developing and implementing the firm’s IT security strategy, ensuring robust protection of our assets.
• Threat Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential threats to our trading systems and data infrastructure.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure all security protocols align with industry regulations and best practices, maintaining compliance across all operations.
• Incident Response: Lead the response to security incidents, coordinating with internal teams to swiftly resolve issues and minimize impact.
• Security Architecture: Design and oversee the implementation of security systems, ensuring they are integrated seamlessly with our existing infrastructure.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of emerging threats and continuously refine our security measures to protect against them.

What We’re Looking For

• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of cybersecurity practices, tools, and technologies, with a focus on financial services.
• Industry Experience: Proven experience in IT security within a Trading Firm, High-Frequency Trading (HFT), or Electronic Trading environment.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial regulations and the security standards required to comply with them.
• Incident Management: Expertise in managing security incidents and implementing effective response strategies.
• Infrastructure Proficiency: Familiarity with both on-premises and cloud-based environments, particularly AWS.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capability to anticipate and neutralize threats before they materialize.
• Leadership: Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and manage cross-functional teams.
