Requirements

• Extensive NodeJS Experience
• Worked in an AWS environment previously
• Lead Experience is a must! The right person will have experience leading overall back-end architecture which includes infrastructure, server side api services, integration services and backend testing and deployment pipelines.
• Build and maintain the back-end part of our CI/CD Pipeline.
• Offer support to the wider engineering team by making key decision and taking ownership of the platform and how it will look both and, in the future,
• Have strong experience with JavaScript testing frameworks (e.g mocha, jest, jasmine)

Role

• We’re looking for a Lead Engineer who has experience creating responsive web application and who has worked on actual shipped products in an agile environment.
• As we are a start-up we need someone who is comfortable adapting to different scenarios that usually pop up– high level of strategic product design whilst also being able to get hands-on with engineering to build a robust back-end platform which is maintainable for short and long term use.
• The right person will have a good balance between a strong technical mindset whilst also having a pragmatic approach to engineering. Quality over Quantity is crucial but must be able to work with output in mind.
• This position is for someone who is highly collaborative, willing to work with people in different parts of the overall team, exchanging ideas to find solutions to the technical and business challenges that the team will face.
