As a tech start-up, our product is everything. We use our own style of agile to release and iterate extremely frequently. After a success growth phase, we now need an experienced DevOps Engineer to lead the infrastructure side of the business and help take us to the next level.

Speed and scale are critical when it comes to mobile app performance (we’re currently at 30k requests per minute). As our DevOps Lead, you’ll think through the moving pieces that make up our infrastructure and work with every team in engineering (mobile, full stack, web and data science), to build and scale the platform our products sit on.

We’re entirely on AWS. You will be key to maturing the platform and guiding the business in terms DevOps tools and processes. Here’s some notable projects you’ll help us tackle:

• Achieving serverless Node.js set up
• Containerising the platform
• Implementing Microservices Architecture

Requirements

• Strong AWS experience (EC2, ECS, ALB, RDS, IAM ect)
• Experience architecting hard problems at scale
• Solid Docker experience
• Proven CI/CD (Jenkins, Travis, CircleCI)
• IaC (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
• Good Linux Skills
• Ability to build reliable infrastructure on top of cloud computing systems
