We’re growing our tech teams globally, including a Lead DevSecOps Engineer to play a significant role in the set up and launch of our new security tool chain.

Role

  • Set up, develop and integrate new developer facing security tooling for the business and engineering requirements. Help it evolve with the company
  • We’re open to change and improvement, but here’s some tools in place: Brakeman, Rubocop, Eslint, chekov, detect-secrets
  • Build and lead a small highly collaborative agile engineering team; responsibility on teams’ technical quality, mentoring to deliver quality code and tools
  • Empower engineering team to take security ownership; Guidance, code reviews for vulnerabilities/improve threat modelling, train devs secure practices ect
  • The business is operational in four countries, plans to expand significantly in many more – Lots of interesting work to make that secure
  • Help evolve development standards and practices
  • Take architectural ownership of various critical components and systems
  • Review Pull Requests from your team and provide feedback

 

Requirements

  • Real World experience designing, developing and operating security tooling integrated in a delivery lifecycle. Including: Tactical to strategic, pre-commit hooks, local dev tools, pre-build assessment (static & policy analysis), post-build tooling (dynamic analysis or artefact scanning)
  • Infrastructure and application post-deployment security exposure
  • Strong CI/CD pipeline knowledge (We use AWS Codepipeline to Gitlab)
  • Coding experience (E.G Ruby, Python, Golang, Node.js, C, C++, Java, Scala, Erlang)
  • A desire to learn, grow, work with an amazing team and deliver solutions
