We’re an AI business who are changing an industry. We’re looking for a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer to join our rapidly expanding international team!

Requirements

  • 6+ years Full Stack development experience
  • Experience in a leadership capacity, including Leading Scrum teams
  • Strong Python development experience
  • Kubernetes in Production  
  • Good grasp of the cloud (one of: AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • CI/CD
  • Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React preferred)
  • Open to exploring other languages (e.g Golang, Node)

Bonus

  • Exposure to other backend multiple opensource languages (e.g Ruby, Node, Golang, Java)
  • Agile
  • GitOps
  • Multi-cloud environment experience (AWS, GCP, Azure, Digital Ocean)

 

Role

  • You will be leading a team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle of the product. We’re building something unique, a full-blown Ubuntu based system accessible through a web browser
  • Taking on interesting challenges from multi-cloud and regional scalability, to exploring a cloud native solution with real-time systems designed for performance and security
  • Architecting the components keeping scalability, maintainability and reliability in mind
  • Standardise the engineering practices/tools in the team
  • Standardise the monitoring stack, handbook for support team
  • Upgrade to stack to support the 3 X increase in active customer workloads with zero downtime
  • Work with the product team to execute cross-team releases and initiatives
  • Mentor and scale up the team to follow standard engineering practices
  • KPIs and writing technical documentation
