Role

• Leading and guiding your team, involving coaching and work planning
• Assess and deliver improvements to observability, reliability, capacity, and developer facing
• tooling
• Build and configure developer and client facing tooling to improve platform and service observability
• Automation, automation, automation!
• Champion security within SRE
• Own monitoring and alerting implementation
• Work closely with application Developers to build and leverage platform metrics better
• Keep up to date with best practices within SRE
• Helping infrastructure team manage AWS environment
• Own and improve our incident management tooling and integrations

Requirements

• Strong technical leadership experience, influencing cross-functional groups in a unified direction, and with proven change management skills
• Fostering a highly engaging, purpose-driven culture
• Experience supporting AWS platforms with scale
• Software engineering mindset
• Coding: Ruby, Python, Node, Go
• Good understanding Observability, monitoring and alerting
• Experience with tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Pagerduty, OpsGenie
• Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
• Terraform, Docker
• Linux command line
• Enjoy working closely with Developers
