Fancy being part of a smart Data platform already disrupting the status quo by making capitalism more sustainable and inclusive? They’re seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to help drive the scaling of the AWS platform and mature reliability tooling and practices. Leading a small and talented SRE pod and working closely with development teams, product and senior engineering management.

  • Ideally 1 day in London pw, but open to Remote options

Requirements

  • Expert AWS experience
  • Experience as a hands on lead
  • Building and managing highly secure and scalable cloud based SaaS platforms
  • Security standards (eg. SOC 2 and ISO27001)
  • Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker
  • CI/CD
  • Strong monitoring and observability (they use Datadog)
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

  • Node.js or Typescript

 

Role

  • Opportunity to shape and drive the technical direction of the platform, tooling and infrastructure – Leading a small SRE team within product and engineering division
  • Laying down reliability and observability best practices and promote across the business
  • Managing and the ever-growing AWS infrastructure
  • Proactive monitoring and threat detection
  • Various security projects. E.G compliance, Disaster Recovery, firewall solutions  
  • Working with wider engineering to record requirements and transform problems into value orientated deliverables
  • Helping steer key decisions around the platform and infrastructure by working with the wider engineering and leadership team
  • Establishing robust practices and processes that allow us to scale quickly
  • Promote principles of reliability engineering across the business
  • Champion non-functional aspects of the platform, including security, performance, observability and reliability
