• $150,000 to $250,000 salary depending on experience

Headquartered is in the USA, but with a globally remote team and they support engineers being based across the planet.

Role

• The first DevOps hire within a growing start up. Opportunity to have a large impact shaping the platform
• Manage and configure development and integration environments (On prem & AWS)
• Deliver automated testing, deployment and will work on CI/CD for applications
• Monitor the general health & automation of development environment
• Ensure high uptime and availability of services
• Install, monitor and maintain integration platforms across products and systems
• Automate build, test, deployment and monitoring across all systems
• Improve on software deployment and delivery practices

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python & Bash
• Docker
• CI/CD & infra as code
• On prem and AWS proficiency
• Strong Linux systems skills
• Trading Firm or High-Frequency Trading (HFT) or Electronic trading firm experience
• SRE tasks; Monitoring, performance optimization, deployment
• Database admin skills
