What we offer

• Salary up to £90,000

Role

• Designing, building, and testing APIs for our mobile apps (RoR 6, Postgres)
• Develop, monitor and look after Backend features
• Code reviews
• take the lead on new backend or full-stack features as required
• Contribute on the planning process and designing of all new features
• Able to contribute on a variety of different areas that interests you – e.g Machine learning, frontend (React), DevOps, BI, product analysis

Requirements

• Extensive Ruby on Rails commercial coding
• 5+ years software development experience
• Worked for a business who’ve experienced scale and performance constraints!
• Postgres or MySQL
• Kanban, Git, Continuous integration, Code reviews
• Worked remotely
• Worked in a start up environment

Bonus

• low-level engineering in the past (C, Rust, Embedded systems, Systems/networking)
• React, HTML, CSS
• Docker and Kubernetes
