Requirements

• Expert AWS including serverless (Fargate)
• IaC – CDK
• Grounding in SRE principles
• CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Bonus

• Programming skills in modern language (e.g Golang, Python, Typescript, Clojure ect)
• Machine learning or AI exposure

Role

• Opportunity to shape and drive the platform development, tooling and reliability engineering principles.
• Reporting into the Head of Platform, with the CTO as the line manager
• Helping look after the AWS infra with scope to impact the architecture and bigger picture.
• Revamp IaC tooling – CDK (Typescript)
• Move into full containerisation– EKS, Kubernetes
• Proactive monitoring and threat detection
