We are seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst in the UK to join our expanding international team!

The Senior Business Analyst will be part of the Data Analytics team, working closely with Product Manager and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into granular, testable, and unambiguous user stories.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst – Exposure to SaaS applications
• Agile
• Proven ability to take complex requirements and break them down into Epics and User Stories in a clear and detailed way
• Jira experience
• Experience writing technical and functional requirements and specifications for software applications
• Excellent communication
• Experience modelling current and future workflows
• Experience with stakeholder management and interacting with stakeholders at all levels of the business.

Bonus

• Working in a Data analytics team or a data heavy environment
• Advertising or Marketing industry experience
• Scrum or BA certifications
• Exposure to digital asset management systems
• Experience writing stories for backend services, knowledge on restful services, XML and JSON formats

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate detailed technical and functional knowledge of the business to advise of technical feasibility and solutions, to complex changes or defects
• Relationship and stakeholder management:
  • External; Customers
  • Internal stakeholders; Tech teams, sales, account management, product, customer care, leadership teams
• Help the business to articulate their product vision and needs and capture, analyse, elaborate, and translate into software development requirements.
• Work with the Product owners to define business requirements which will address business initiatives and solve business problems through a technology solution.
• Decompose large features or functions into logical epics and stories which can then be explained to developers.
• Specify requirements in detailed Epics and User Stories which include clear and concise acceptance criteria.
• Demonstrate features and enhancements to stakeholders
• Participate in Agile SCRUM ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives.
