A highly successful power supplies business is seeking a .Net Software Developer to have a stake in the continued evolution of the company. You’ll be delivering new projects in the C# and .Net, as well as managing existing systems. Lots of greenfield to be involved in!

 

This year, the business recorded over 50 million in revenue and continue to go from strength to strength. They have massive plans afoot, including the increased expansion in renewable energy solutions and the engaging challenges this brings!

Requirements

  • Strong development skills in C# and .Net
  • WinForms - Experience designing interactive desktop applications
  • Git or SVN, Jira
  • Understanding of software architecture concepts
  • SQL

Bonus

  • Networking experience - Ethernet, TCPIP, UDP protocols or Modbus-TCP protocol
  • Electrical engineering familiarity or Controls and automation experience

 

Role

  • The team are responsible for the code that runs the control systems and equipment. You’ll be helping deliver new projects in C# and .Net Framework, and possibly Core. As well existing work in WinForms
  • Write well-designed, testable code for desktop applications
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
  • Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
  • Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
  • Document and maintain software functionality
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
  • Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
  • Ensure software is updated with latest features
  • Work collaboratively with the Engineering manager and team
