We’re an AI business who are changing an industry. We’re looking for a Technical Lead Software Engineer to guide a team that are breaking up a C# monolith and exploring new languages including Golang and Node.js.

 

What we offer

  • Up to £132,00 package (120k base + 12k bonus)
  • Stock options £80,000-£120,000 current value
  • Remote with twice monthly required in London

Requirements

  • 6+ years backend development experience
  • Experience in a leadership capacity, including Leading Scrum teams
  • Strong C# development experience, but open to exploring new languages (e.g Golang, Node)
  • Kubernetes in Production  
  • Good grasp of the cloud (one of: AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • CI/CD

Bonus

  • Exposure to other backend multiple opensource languages (e.g Ruby, Node, Golang, Java)
  • Agile
  • GitOps
  • Multi-cloud environment experience (AWS, GCP, Azure, Digital Ocean)

 

Role

  • Leading a team which builds the code generation tools that power the AI machine
  • Breaking up their large cloud based C# monolith and building greenfield platform in microservices, with languages such as Node, Golang, Python.
  • This will allow you the opportunity to skill up in new languages without the need for previous experience in them
  • Architecting the components keeping scalability, maintainability and reliability in mind
  • Work with various stakeholders to execute cross-team releases and initiatives
  • Mentor and scale up the team to follow standard engineering practices
  • KPIs and writing technical documentation
