We’ve recently launched live TV recording in the cloud and are undergoing a complete redesign which you will play a key part of! Ensuring our customers receive quality, undisrupted video for Live TV, OnDemand, Catch Up and Recordings.

Some projects include

• Assisting in the setup, administration and support of our streaming architecture (comprised of a fleet of AWS instances, ground encoders & servers at our Data Center)
• Effectively provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of our streaming hardware and software and related network infrastructure
• Setting up new encoder and streaming services for our network and assist in the management and configuration of encoders, firmware upgrades, controlled failovers, maintenance and stream configurations
• Adept at troubleshooting and be able to solve simple encoder and streaming problems quickly and efficiently
• You will be working as part of a DevOps team to maintain and improve the online service.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in video streaming
• Demonstrable relevant technical experience with digital streaming technologies and protocols
• Experienced working with HTTP Live Streaming, DASH and Smooth Streaming
• Knowledge or experience of configuring/deploying DRM solutions
• Experience with Linux based operating systems to be able to perform basic commands, editing scripts
• Basic working knowledge of AWS to be able to launch EC2 images, configure S3 and work with CloudFront distributions.
• Understanding of basic networking principles such as TCP/IP and HTTP
